ROUNDS: 11AM & 5:30 PM daily
ENTRY FEE: $55. Non-members of BGC pay $21 extra.
Late fee on day of tournament $10 extra.
Entry payments can be made by phone using VISA or MASTERCARD
CFC RATED:
CFC membership or $10 tournament fee required.
PRIZES: 100% of entry fees (5% to go to GTCL Grand Prix fund),
class prizes awarded according to turnout in rating groups.

Enter by March 31 and your name will be entered into a draw
for a full entry fee rebate ($55).
This will be awarded in cash at the end of the tournament.
One or more of these prizes will be awarded and may be won
in addition to any other prizes you may have won.

GTCL Grand Prix 2007 series will include the following 5 tournaments:

March Open – March 16-18, 5 rounds2)
Toronto Open – April 6-8, 6 rounds3)
Canada Day Open – June 29-July 1, 5 rounds - TBA4)
Thanksgiving Open – October 6-8, 6 rounds - TBA5)
Holidays Open – December 26-30, 6 rounds - TBAGrand Prix prizes will be awarded to players who get the most points accumulated for all 5 tournaments in the following 5 categories:
1) Open,
2) Under 2200,
3) Under 2000,
4) Under 1800,
5) Under 1600.
5% from each tournament’s prize fund will be set aside for Grand Prix fund.
CFC Membership is required.

The Ontario High School
Chess Championship 2007
(Fri May 11 – Sun May 13) will be held at Trent University, Peterborough. A
highway coach service will be available from Toronto.
Students in Grades 7 and 8 (“Junior High School”) are most welcome. Students in Grades 1 through 6, who can compete with older players, are also welcome.
Students stay in the university residence; some students and parents stay in nearby hotels.
In addition to Individual Prizes, the tournament offers Team Prizes and Combined Team Prizes:
A team consists of the top 3 players from a school in one section; A combined team consists of 3 players: the top player in each section from the same school.
