| Time controls are
always given as time per player. The event is not CFC rated. CFC active ratings are extremely inaccurate. There are masters rated 1400-1500 or so. BGC ratings are very accurate and updates are posted on the GTCL website. Thanks for your interest. Vlad Responses:

March Open – March 16-18, 5 rounds2)
Toronto Open – April 6-8, 6 rounds3)
Canada Day Open – June 30-July 1 & 2 - 5 rounds4)
Thanksgiving Open – October 6-8, 6 rounds5)
Holidays Open – December 26-30, 6 rounds - TBAGrand Prix prizes will be awarded to players who get the most points accumulated for all 5 tournaments in the following 5 categories:
1) Open,
2) Under 2200,
3) Under 2000,
4) Under 1800,
5) Under 1600.
5% from each tournament’s prize fund will be set aside for Grand Prix fund.
CFC Membership is required.
