The Greater Toronto Chess League
update
We have several clubs interested in participation:
Chess Academy of Canada (the last year winner of Premier League and Cup)
Willowdale Chess Club (upgraded the team and moved to Premier League, and they will certainly challenge the CAC in the Cup)
[B]Knights of Chess Club (U2000, and considering to play in the Cup)
Brampton Chess Club (U2000)
BOTSB (U2000).
Bayview Chess Club is considering to enter as well.
I, as a Club Coordinator, would support just teams (without affiliation to any club) willing to play, if they would agree to play at opponents clubs or would arrange other playing venues. As I know, there were such teams and clubs outside of GTCL area who came to play in the GTCL clubs. With gas price going down this is the option again :) However, this should be approved by GTCL participating clubs.
