Our tournaments are professionally organized and executed & I don’t have time for immature behaviour (especially from people who call themselves chess instructors). The person who wrote the above anonymous messages is a Chess Instructor for children in Brampton/Woodbridge. He owns a website little chess….. something.. He was impressed with our tournament & after the tournament he sent me an email below. We spoke afterwards and he wanted us to come together to organize large chess tournaments in Brampton. We did not agree because we have different objectives. His is a business to make a profit while we are non-profit just for the fun. Our objective is to provide “Organized, low-cost recreational activities for the community”. Thanks for your time & best regards. I'm glad I could help with my speech for children chess in Brampton. Who were the winners. I wish I could of been part of this tournament but unfortunately I teach Chess on Saturdays starting at 2pm. Perhaps next tournament you can make it on a Sunday to accommodate. I will try to call you today and make arrangements to meet so we can discuss how I can sponsor your other events….”
