Would-be entrants are comparing these class prizes to the
2009 Canadian Open in Edmonton, which was extraordinary
in attracting many top rank GMs with not very high Open
prizes, when there could be more and higher class prizes.
This time, accelerated rounds gives lower rated players a
much bigger chance at the Open prizes, so the class prizes
are still reasonable.
As well, there are many more Ladies, Seniors and Juniors prizes this
time, and category prizes (Biggest Upset, Best Dressed...).
