Ruperto Frilles won Toronto Senior Chess Championship 2007

Ruperto Frilles won yesterday tie-break match with Mickey Stein - 2:0 after both players finished Toronto Senior Championship with 6 points after 7
rounds. It was active chess match with 20'+10"/move time control.

Postponed game from round 6 Ben Hosiosky - Oswald Barmasch as well was played yesterday, and Ben won to clinch his third prize with 5.5 points.

So, Toronto Senior Championship was finished today - please find completed crosstable here.

Congratulations to Ruperto Frilles, our new Toronto Senior Chess Champion, and other prize winners.

Yuan, Yuanling won the Toronto Junior Chess Champion 2007 today

Today’s game in Bayview Game Chess Club would create a new Toronto Junior Chess Champion 2007. Since Zhou, Haonan, the U16B Champion of 2007 CYCC finished all rounds games and got 3.5/6, the title of the 2007 TJCC would not below Zhou. It would be from the winner of today’s game between a 13 years old girl, Yuan, Yuanling and 13 years old Canadian Chess Master, Sapozhnikov, Roman.
