Time Control: Analog: SD/120
Digital: Game/90 + 30 sec. increment (Fischer)
Digital clock to be used unless not available.
Round Times: Saturday: 9:00,14:00,19:30
Sunday: 9:00,14:00
Notes:
1. Last CFC list prior to September 15, 2007 will be used. Participants not there listed
shall be paired as per their rating in other federations, and failure to declare current rating in other
federations is cause for expulsion form the tournament. Players that are unrated in any federation
are not eligible for category prizes.
2. Participants must be bone-fide CFC members. Failing this, they may either join the
CFC or renew their CFC membership prior to the first round or pay a one-time $10 outside participant fee to the CFC in addition to the tournament entry fee.
Entry: $45 less $5 for R.A.CC members less $5 for those registering prior to September 15, 2007
Holders of FIDE titles (GM,IM,FM,WGM,WM) pay $

(will only accept cheques till September 6, 2007)
-at RACC: on Thursday, September 13 between 19:00 and 19:30
-at site: on Saturday September 15, prior to 08:30.
Later registrations may be awarded 0.5 point bye for round 1
No email or telephone registrations will be accepted !!
Byes: participants may request 1 bye for rounds1-3. The request must be made prior
to round 1 and requested byes cannot be altered or rescinded.
Misc: Please bring your own clock.

“This year's R.A.Fall Open was won by the young and talented Lloyd Mai with a perfect score of 5/5! Lloyd is one ofCanada 's outstanding youngsters who will be representing us at the World Youth Chess Championship in Turkey later this year. Congratulations Lloyd! Second place was awarded to veteran expert Dusan Simic with an undefeated 4.5/5. Third place was shared by Claude Carrier, Karoly Szalay, David Gordon and Jerry Xiong.
The Best Under 2000 prize was awarded to Eric VanDusen. Second in this category was Alex Danilov. The Under 1700 section was won outright by Danny Donev who played exceptionally well. Agastya Kalra and Tom Jarmyn tied for second in this category.
Congratuations to all winners and many tanks to all those who participated in the tournament.”
