Format: 7-round CFC-rated, FIDE-rated, Swiss Tournament
Location: 730 Cochrane Dr #1,Markham ( Duncan Academy , spacious
place with free Wi-Fi , indoor badminton court and table tennis room)
Time Control: 10 mins + 5 secs/move increment
Capacity: 150 players
Rounds: 12:30 pm, 1:15 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:15 pm, 5:00 pm
Sections: Crown, U1800, U1400 (rated CFC Quick in all sections, FIDE
rated top-two sections, no playing up allowed)
Equipment: Chess4win will supply all chess equipment
Prizes: $2800 based on 150 fully paid entries. Trophies to winning players in
each section.
Entry Fees: $50 by April 8th at 11:59 pm, $55 afterwards, free entry for
IM/WIM by April 8th at 11:59 pm ; free entry for GM/WGM
Registration: Online registration by Sunday, April 26th at 10:00 am. No onsite registration.
Byes: Up to one 1/2 point bye for rounds 1-5 can be requested by emailing us
by Saturday. April 25th at 11:59pm.
