We are now open all year long, including during the summer. We are open on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Every Tuesday night there are players playing casual games. We usually use chess clocks to ensure the pace or speed of the game. Although the serious game may take two hours or more, we also play fast 5 minute games in which make you move fast… or lose by time! Sometimes, we have tournaments which most people in the club join. These tournaments are sometimes 5 minute sudden death, 30 minute sudden death or 90 minute sudden death. For more information, drop in to our club for an evening or call Barry at 905-846-8467.
Chess training and periodic tournaments are on Saturdays. Monday evening chess to start soon (probably in May).
Yearly membership:
$70 for regular members
$40 for ladies and seniors (65+)
